Change the submit button color

Heads up!

This article contains CSS code and is intended for developers. We offer this code as a courtesy, but don't provide support for code customizations or 3rd party development.

For extra guidance, please see WPBeginner's tutorial on adding custom CSS.

By default WPForms styles the form submit button with a soft gray background, however you may want to change to color to better match the colors on your website. This can be accomplished with a short CSS snippet.

.wpforms-form button[type=submit] {
	background-color: #024488 !important;
	border-color: #024488 !important;
	color: #fff !important;

.wpforms-form button[type=submit]:hover {
	background-color: #022B57 !important;

The code snippet above will change the submit button background to blue (#024488) with white text. The colors are defined using hex codes, which you can look up here.

Note: For additional style changes to the submit button, including hover styles, please see our submit button styling tutorial.
